1961

After remodeling existing rooms, replacing water lines and upgrading electrical systems, work begins on constructing a new dining room and an expanded kitchen with parking underneath.

1962

To commemorate both the new dining room addition and the Seattle World's Fair, the Century 21 Cookbook is published.

1964

The 50th Anniversary year kicks off with the Golden Jubilee Black Tie Ball and later with a birthday luncheon and an original play entitled "The Long Birthday Party."

Finally, the members approve obtaining a Liquor License and a bar is installed in the Gold Room. Cheers!
